Hello!

I've found the reason for the "Invalid or undefined bitmap" message!

It probably was my fault. I checked with xrdb the Emacs specific X resources today and found this object without right hand value:

        Emacs.menu.attributeBackgroundPixmap:

Removing it the message disappears.

So it's clear why no bitmap file name was added to the directory's path name.


Last week I was investigating the *info* node on X resources and corrected my .Xdefaults file. On the command line I tested some new settings, copying and pasting. Probably I made at some moment a mistake and pressed RET instead of BS or undo when switching between desktops and applications or such ...

Sorry for the trouble!! (At least I learned a bit about GDB and GUD! Hope it persists until the next bug.)
