Good point: if there's some other mouse action in the mean time, it
shouldn't be considered as a click.

I said "mouse did not move", not "mouse is at the same place at beginning
and end".

I can: current-buffer is just constantly scrolling (it's watching an active
log file, or it's a game, or a shell buffer with a process gone wild, ...).
