Does drawing cursor in the wrong position on multi-line before-strings

Yes. Whenever the cursor is in the wrong position, that is real trouble.
Is the display of multi-line before-strings an
"important feature"?
before-strings is an important feature. It is true that multi-line
before-strings are not often used. But we should make such a feature
work correctly in all cases, not just most cases.
