Neither the Lisp nor the C patch change the behaviour. Interestingly, it seems to be a difference between custom layouts and the layouts that shipped with the system. If I switch to the British or US layout, the problem goes away; that is, the control key behaves as expected, given the selected key layout. -- On the quay of the little Black Sea port, where the rescued pair came once more into contact with civilization, Dobrinton was bitten by a dog which was assumed to be mad, though it may only have been indiscriminating.
