Hello, I've accumulated a bit of experience with these Unicode layouts since I use one myself. I've had the exact same problems with earlier versions of Emacs, however I've found that recent versions work correctly out of the box. I could not reproduce your problem, either, using a your layout on a (physically) German keyboard and OS 10.4.9.

Can you verify that only the UK layout was checked in International (other than you layout of course). Would you try my keylayout to see what happens?
