I don't have PowerMail on my PB drive (except in Stuffit archive) to
check, but I thought there was a way (drag the window bar, go to
Preferences, or something like that) in PowerMail to have the windows
like Emailer(?), i.e., little window on left for your folders and big
window with subject lines only.

Yep, just unstuffed and opened (3.1.2 is the version I have) - Under the
Views Menu, go to Browser and you have a choice of how many panes
PowerMail will show.
