I'm not directly familiar with the empty subject. I get a few, but
not many.
I've read, in conjunction with articles about business email, about
the problem and recall it being server related when server software is
changed but some settings (server preferences?) not being set correctly.
The server then strips away the subject.
I suspect it is not emailer related and there is nothing to be done
until the server is corrected.
The article(s) were not techincal. They dealt more with reliability
and problems in business use and personal use of a business address and
ownership -- that type of stuff.
