I'm not sure if I missed the nuances of your question? But I use OneClick. OC is good until OS X. In OSX it's a classic app but, what's the point of that after you have switched to OS X? (I have not switched yet but I listen). I use an OC script to have an F-key launch Emailer, command K click, uncheck the send mail from the coordinates on the screen (recorded from an actual mouse click so not rocket science to figure out where to click) and then, get new mail. Easy. It would be just as easy to add a quit command after some time had passed or perhaps an event. OC also can do Applescript stuff. OC has script abilities that I am sure can be set to count time intervals and then run at set times for you to do whatever you like with Emailer. My goal is to learn more about Applescript so as to have Emailer add to Panorama (my database) - and vice verse.
