Hi, I know this is off subject, but you are the only Mac gurus I
interface with, and the list seems quiet now.
I have a PowerBook 5300 running OS 8.1. It has stopped going to
sleep by itself no matter how I set things on the PowerBook control
panel, even clicking the default button. The screen darkens, but it
doesn't go to sleep until I close the lid.
I would guess that the control panel has become corrupted, but how
could I reinstall just one control panel?
