Yes. But marketing works because most people have this sheep like instinct. It might be a good idea, but I have to follow the crowd over here. Please don't confuse or frighten me with the truth right now. What's that old saying? Don't try to teach a pig to sing. It only wastes your time and it annoys the pig. My nephew, still impressionable enough for hearing the truth, was showing me an article about this cool new Windows program that would allow you to use your PC as an answering machine and also to control x10 household appliances and also to speak to your PC. I listened and then patiently explained that all that was on the Mac, YEARS ago. But I didn't press my point beyond that. Impressionable is one thing but, I didn't want to annoy him. Sigh.
