Thank you for the help, and suggestions. I tried to reset power
management by powering up with the restart button under the video out
port on the back. This didn't seem to do anything besides starting up. It
didn't rebuild the DeskTop, so I zapped PRAM, and rebuilt the DeskTop
with TechTool. That seemed to do the trick. My PB5300 will now sleep.
My System CD is 8, and I downloaded the 8.1 update, but I imagine
the PowerBook Control Panel should be the same? Yes, Berndt, I subscribed
to the PowerList. They seem to be much more active than the E-Mailer list.
