I haven't had that much success with fake bounces. I haven't kept a log
to make sure, buy my impression is that many spammers don't even notice
bounces.
I've been using Mail Siphon for this for months. I'll get a rash of spam
from the same place, do fake bounces on all of them, but I still notice
more spam from the same sources. Other times it may work. In any case, it
does feel somewhat satisfying to be able to "hit back" at these spammers.
