I', stumped. Anyone have a suggestion? This is from a professor at our local college.
********************* I am a Mac user using a G3 Powerbook running System 9.2.2. I use the latest version of Eudora Pro 5.1.5 for my email client. My word processor is Microsoft Word 2001. I am having great difficulty receiving RTF attachments from my colleagues and students. I have asked them to use Rich Text Formated word processing files so we can exchange documents easily, and they are donin this. My problem is this. Many of the RTF files I receive arrive INSIDE the email message I receive--not as an attachment. When this happens there is no icon to click on to open the attachment. The RTF code arrives inside the email message at the bottom of the message. I have conferred with Eudora, and will several real experts here in Warrensburg and we are all stumped. I have checked my settings in Eudora and Word. What have I missed? Can you help me solve this problem. I will forward a sample message right after this one which will illustrate the problem, AND I must add that the message was not sent by a newbie or a new user. (Message arrived with the text embedded in the message and also with the attachemnt) Thank you for any light you may be able to shed on this problem. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
