My boss has one of >those, and he is interested in moving to OS X on it, but I haven't had >the desire to fight it just to find performance sucks I recommend 512 MB RAM (2 x 256) and a new fast harddrive. With that, performance is OS 9 like, which means it's fast for some applications, like simple classic apps, like Emailer, and some X apps that actually run a little bit faster, some are just as fast and some considerably slower or just a little bit slow. My guess is that different code perform differently. I'd investigate each application that I depended upon, for perfomance under OS X on comparable machine to your own. It also depends on your workstyle. I usually multitask somewhat. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
