Which, in my opinion *isn't* a Powerbook G3. To me, Wall Street (or
Powerbook series) I and II was the first REAL Powerbook G3 and the 3400
was just a bad idea. There was also another 250 model in the Wall Street
I series. Check out <www.everymac.com>. So while it may be called that by
some, I disagree.

Isn't that much of a problem on the 266 actually, though would be nice
with QE support though.

Mine at 192, but in real life it can use 512.

However, I'd recommend your boss to sell the 3400 for what he can get and
buy a Wall Street Pismo and 512 MB RAM, *not less* and a new fast HD.
That or a second hand or new grey iBook instead. Unless he wants to spend
on a G4. There will only be trouble trying to get decent performance from
the 3400, except maybe as a typewriter. In that case, why go OS X at all?

Lombards should be avoided with OS X AFAIK. I haven't really paid
attention since 10.2 really, though.
