Not directly on your weird behavior problem, but... If you have both DiskWarrior AND Norton, it is highly advisable to run DiskWarrior FIRST before one runs Norton. DiskWarrior is a much safer application and will not make things worse, as can Norton under certain circumstances. DW creates a brand NEW disk directory file from scratch, and only after successfully doing this, makes it operative and upon your specific "OK". Norton, on the other hand, tries to repair one's EXISTING disk directory file, and if it is unsuccessful, then one is left with a directory file that may then be totally unrepairable and forcing an re-initializing of the hard drive. If DiskWarrior fixes your directory file first, then Norton can run without worrying about your crucial directory file being inadvertently trashed. I use DiskWarrior every couple days or so and rarely have directory issues, [and never (knock wood) with Emailer], and if I do, DiskWarrior seems to fix just about all of them. A wonderful program!! ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
