I was just looking for a way of eliminating the ever annoying alert window (asking me if I want to upgrade to Quicktime Pro) that comes up whenever I open a Quicktime file.
I discovered that under Preferences->Quicktime->Browser Plug-in (each listed in a pull down menu) you reach a window that, among other things, gives you the choice of retaining movies in your browser's disk cache (if possible) or not. Meanwhile, does anyone know how to turn that alert off?
