I don't know if it's useful or relevant as you already have it going on... I use 9.1 which has broken the normal hangup when sent script. Therefore, I use my control strip to open my remote access panel and choose options on the (remote access) control panel. On the center "Connection" tab, on the last check box, disconnect after (x) minutes... I leave it set to 1 for normal email checking and sending. That means that most of the time it behaves almost as it did when hanging up after sending. If I go very far into the web I will change it to 10. You have to close it and save it each time but that is it. Of course you know that just means 10 minutes of no activity, it in no way limits you to 10 minutes on line.
