One thing that occurred to me was maybe it's related to Unicode - you know how fonts under MacOS X are different to accomodate international character sets - and when Mail X.whatever sends it and it converts for the 'Net, the characters get garbled. Anybody who can authoritatively explain Unicode and how Mail uses it??
