Needless to say I thought, is that we of course will leave Word in the dust as a collaboration tool. Also, most people that I know in the university do not use Word for collaboration anyway. So they will be very open for our way as it will be very user-centric and non-geeky logical structure. We will work closely with real organisations to make sure we implement what people want. Obviously we will need to be able to read Wordfiles, but I'm not doing that part myself.
Let me also say that Words efforts to be a layout tool, leaves us laughing. It may be a decent word processor and all, but its layout capabilities belong to the eighties. Acyuallt Appleworksa leaves it in the dust already with its "put things where you want them" approach in the graphics section. This is how we use Appleworks anyway.
