I took the sugestions from yesterday -
created a second account for outgoing only and tried it.
The results are:
* sending to anyone other than myself - no recipient, no relay
* sending a test message to myself (at the same address I am sending
from) works
* even sending to another user on the same ISP fails (in this case
support).
any other ideas?
looks like either Nisusmail, or Mail smith : (

refresher (settings etc from yesterday):
using Netscape messanger (7.0.1) and using mail.britsys.net as smtp and
pop servers (per the ISPs instructions) netscape can send and receive
mail from my account.
However, when I setup emailer (v1.1.3) with the following, I can recieve
- but can not send mail. I get 2 errors:
error 1 - no recipent (there is one)
error 2 - no relaying
setup in emailer:
account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
password: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
smtp: mail.britsys.net
email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
