Hello, I am a current user of Claris Emailer 1.1v3, but realize it has Y2K issues that may cause my emails to be received by other people with wrong dates. If their incoming email is sorted by date, my messages may be overlooked. I wish to upgrade to Emailer 2.0v3 to correct this problem.
I have four questions/issues concerning such an upgrade: - I have a large number of personal folders into which my emails are filed. When I tried to upgrade, the existence of these folders were carried over, but their contents were not, instead being put into an unused, v1.X backup folder. Is there a way to preserve these many emails and make them available in 2.0v3? - If there is, since these emails were filed under 1.1v3, they have the incorrect Sent date (often listed as 1920). Can I correct these headers so that they are properly listed in 2.0v3? - Since 1.1v3 incorrectly reads when email was sent, I list my inbox and folder contents by the email "received" date instead, which is correct. Is there a similar option in 2.0v3, or does it go by only the Sent date? - Is there a way to file an email into multiple personal folders? Using 1.1v3, it was easy enough to jump into the Finder and duplicate a file/email, but 2.0v3 seems to store multiple emails as a single file (ugh). I am somewhat new to all this and apologize if these questions have been asked before. I'd appreciate any help, answers, or being pointed in the right directions.
