I got another one of these blank messages today, and opened it in Mail
Siphon. It was apparently an HTML message. Here are part of the headers:

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

The message included many lines of code. So, apparently, Emailer
recognizes some HTML (and puts it into a file attachment) and doesn't
recognize others.
