Well, for me iPhoto and iTunes would be the primary motivators - iTunes is one of the big reasons I'm running out of space on my current HD! Yes, I can delete the tunes off my drive (since they're from my own CDs), but I like the option of having my own music. Plus, I make up playlists and output my own mixes of tunes/musicians to audiotape for playing in my car. Good when I'm tired of (or want something more to my likes than) the locally available radio stations. So I'm saving up for a larger HD for my Pismo... (well for the MP3's and for MacOS X - which I certainly hope will continue to run Emailer, under Classic if need be).
