That's where mail actions prove their worth; the vast majority of spam consists of an email that has no text but an html attachment. So create a mail action that examines each message with critera that if mail contains no text, but has an attachement file message in Deleted Mail folder and run strip enclosures script. I also have that mail action turn the color of all those messages red and give them priority 20. After opening auto log upon connection and sorting by priority, all the junk is at the bottom of the list, easily readable in case a valid message is tagged as junk.
