Sure smells like you may have a bit of database corruption. Also, I have 
seen scrambled messages (not of a few years now) when one is "stuck" in 
the Temp Incoming folder. I would get text from the stuck message mixed 
with future incoming messages.

Best to make sure that folder is EMPTY, then do a rebuild of the database.
