Hi,

I've used Claris EMailer 2.0v3 for years with no hitches.
Since reinstalling 2.0v3 yesterday, though, it won't launch.
Upon trying to launch, the program throws up an error message saying that
it was unable to open the mail database (one that was previously
accumulated by same version of EMailer) and reports an "unknown error
(44)". I believe it to be an error designation internal to EMailer rather
than a system error number but could be wrong on this.
I have tried all tricks known to me for pointing program to the correct
database, rebuilding the database, giving RAM to the app. Have trashed
EMailer references.
I've checked all archives that I have been able to find and found no
explanation of this type 44 error. Various people reporting the same
problem but no solutions.
Any one out there know what this error message means or a solution to it?
