A quick and dirty way around this issue, is when the email id 
downloading, click stop before you hit the bad/problematic email, and 
wait until the next cycle, and it usually works. Occasionally I have to 
do this when there is 20-30MB in an inbox. (like the other day, when I 
had 25MB in one inbox, and emailer started choking, I just got half, 
stopped it, then the other half came right through.)
