I'm running 10.2.6 and Emailer 2 v3 in Classic. This morning my Browser disappeared. I restarted but it was gone. I opened my backup copy which was fine, just two months behind and copied the Mail Database and Address Book to it. When I reopened it I had no Browser in the backup copy either. I remembered that in the past I had a corrupt Mail Index so I replaced the current Mail Index with one on a second backup (also several months old). The browser opened and all the folders were there and I thought I was home free. A little later I realized there were no files in the folders that had been added in the past several months.
To compound my problem, when I try to open any version of Emailer, I'm now getting the following message "The Claris Emailer Preferences file is either damaged or open in another application. You may only run one copy of Claris Emailer at a time. If there is no other copy running, delete your preferences file." I threw away the preferences and have restarted Classic several times, but nothing seems to help. In the interim I managed to import about a third of my files into Entourage, but it's not a change I'll make willingly. If anyone has any suggestions, they will be greatly appreciated.
