Tannis:

Trash messages and attachments does what you're looking for in mail
actions, also manually. Though Trash attachments script is handy, TM & A
script also runs and deletes messages without attachments if a related
keyword for a particular spam is entered in the named mail action's
criteria list.

Unknown is probably the email that generally appears in Emailers In Box.
Thats where messages, or spam, with, or without attachments, that
Emailer doesnt know where to filter and file the stuff gets placed.
Though you organized the stuff enough for Emailer to file those into a
designated Unknown folder, that may still be the cause of your problem.
You may have to further organize the mail action entries for that folder,
or move it to the bottom of your mail actions list, or just experiment
with its positioning in that list. According to its manual, Emailer
can handle up to 20 criteria entries per named mail action. You may have
to set up additional named mail actions to handle the amount of entries
above those 20 per group to be filed into that same Unknown folder.

Hmm...Perhaps after setting up your named mail action to run Trash
messages and attachments script per earlier discussion, position it above
your named spam mail actions, but below your Unknown named mail action
on the list, and see how that works for you. Thus, you may not have to do
anything else with your named Unknown mail actions.

I have a dozen named & listed mail actions filtering, priority colorizing
and filing into designated folders. Sometimes one has to experiment with
the positioning of the named mail actions on the list window to find what
works best for them. I found that when my named "Delete Immediately"
mail actions was on the bottom of the list, my named "Spam" mail actions
above it worked first, filtering, colorizing & filing received spam into
my Spam folder, before "Delete "Immediately" mail actions took effect.
Thus all spam, including those with attachments wound up colorized in my
spam folder instead.

I recollect reading in Emailer's larger manual, that the order you see in
the MA list window is the order Emailer executes it's mail actions. Also
one can drag a listed named mail action to any position on the list that
works best for them. That's why my suggestion not to have this particular
mail action on the bottom, or under your regular spam named mail actions
on the list. Since I moved Delete Immediately above my Spam and Spam 2
listed actions, Trash messages and attachments script runs before the
other two. All three named mail actions have been running smoothly in the
order they're listed without problems, since then. I also positioned my
Personal named mail action above all the others on the list, so Emailer
filters, color prioritizes and files that group first into a Personal
Mail folder.

The above are based on my experience, but hope this info would be helpful
in resolving the problems youre currently experiencing.

Best regards
Martin Zibulsky
