I have started using Mail Forward (http://www.sspi-software.com/) to move my AOL mail (from multiple screen names) over to my ISP's server. I have set Emailer not to check AOL anymore (and that's one of the few features keeping me in Emailer, the others being some mail actions that I cannot seem to duplicate in any other product).
This solution, while not bulletproof, is working quite well. I have even moved Mail Forward over to an old machine that I use as a file server, and just let it run there, checking AOL (and Yahoo! too) every 10 minutes. Lawrence A.
