On 2/12/04, Doug McAdam submitted (in part) the followwig message to emailer-talk:
>I had Internet Explorer 4.5 on this used Imac and it worked fine until I >recently upgraded to 5.1.7. Now I get a message as follows- > >A script error occured. Some scripts on the affected page may not work >correctly. Do you want continue running scripts on the affected page? >YES NO I have had the same message using Explorer 5.1 I have chosen to ignore the message, as it only comes as a result of my choosing to "play" the Publisher's Clearing House game. The message comes repeatedly, whenever I reaffirm my Entry. I have chosen either option, and it doesn't seem to make any difference in what happens thereafter. Yes, the PCH game is stupid. But you never know when the video truck willl arrive at your doorstep announcing your winning entry. Beside which, you don't have to make any purchase to be considered. And, the chances of winning are no worse than the state lottery. ;-) I wouldn't spend a lot of time with the so-called Support at Explorer/MS. They're not paid to give attention to anything Mac. If you're not content ignoring the message, and need a real answer, I don't know what to suggest. Ignorance is bliss, in my case.
