Sorry if I wasn't clear enough I should have quoted more. The ONLY place I ever see "this message has been permanently deleted" is in the Auto-File log (which I never use but have opened on occasion). Clicking on the Status column has no affect on the "this message...deleted" entries in the A-F log.
