I'm trying to figure out how to set up a 'throwaway' account I have with
Yahoo so that I can send outgoing replies without using my primary email
account.
The account name would be like this:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
while my real/main address would be:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
I have my main address set up in CE as
Account: Main
User name: Main
EMail account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Email password: XXXXXXXX
SMTP server: 127.0.0.1
Email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I'm using Baton Mail to authenticate SMTP login, BTW.
But when I try to set up similarly for my throwaway account, I get this
error message and it doesn't even pass off to Baton Mail (not long enough
that I see it, anyway):
Execution of Schedule "Connect Now" at ....
Connecting to Internet using Account "Throwaway"
Checking email account "throwaway-1
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
** Pop server error "-ERR invalid user/password"
Is anyone else using CE with temporary accounts through Yahoo, who can
help me with setting this up?
