HI James,
Are you trying to CHECK your yahoo mail like this, or just send it with
the yahoo return address? What does Yahoo say to use to login using a
POP email client for checking mail? Don't they have some special rule? It
for sure would not be:
EMail account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

That sounds like you are mixing the 2 accounts together. (although it's
confusing since you have sbcglobal and yahoo, which seem to have some
relations) Remember, in Emailer; for the "email account" line everything
after the "@" is the pop server. So you might have something like:
EMail account: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Depending on what yahoo says to use as a pop server.

SBC contracted out their email services to Yahoo, so all ABC email addresses now have the sbcglobal.yahoo.com segment as their server. However, that also means that, unlike their prior setup, you now have to deal with authorization. I don't remember the original question, but that may be part of the original poster's problem. Whatever it is, mixing two accounts together is not what's happening here.

Peace,
Bob Daverin
