I've been using Mail.app for a while, alongside Emailer, and I'd pretty much agree with your assessment. I like Emailer's UI and find Mail.app's UI clumsy. My pet niggles with Mail.app are that it always parses HTML and insists on displaying each message that is selected. Thunderbird <http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/> hasn't been mentioned on the list until I brought it up a few days ago. I don't know why, to me it looks like the best bet for an Emailer replacement. Have you (or anyone else) checked it out? If so, how do you think it compares to Emailer and Mail.app?
