Is this true?
I think there are two reasons Apple didn't follow in Emailer's design foot steps. 1: Steve Jobs. Mail.app is the direct descendant of the NeXTStep mail application (which was all called Mail.app). Steve wanted Mail.app to be moved to OS X, and so it was done. 2: My understanding is, no one at Apple knows where the source code to Emailer is. But #1 is the primary. Jobs wanted Mail.app, and that was that. So now they have to evolve it, and sometimes retro-fitting good ideas into an application is a tough thing to do. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
