Partisan politics by its nature is divisive, as we can see by these emails of late, and it is highly unlikely anyone can get to be President by being an angel or without compromise. Course the American voter does not help much by not voting. I think the percentage of voters in most elections is around 39% if my memory serves me. That guantees incumbancy and perpetuates incompentencies and the existing culture.
