Yeah, if you want to be on top of politics, be sure to listen to a
nutcase like Vidal. He may be smart, but his judgement stinks.
Given up because they aren't represented? How can they complain if
they DON'T VOTE? How are they to be represented if they don't
participate?
A paragraph like this one above drives me mad. What crap!
Americans have a standard of living that is the envy of the world, but
that means that most are too fat and lazy to get out and DO something in
their own world as it relates to politics, NOT that they're
disenfranchised. And of course, the left loves this sort of silliness
because they're losing their grip on things and want to blame it on
ANYTHING except their failed policies and lunatic beliefs.

>a democracy? (And if not, what business does it have ramming so-called
>democracy down other people's throats?)

NO, the United States is and has always been, a REPUBLIC. Maybe if
more people understood this about this nation, and knew more about the
process, they wouldn't be so stupid in their expectations and
misunderstandings of how things work.

>Herald (Australia):

Who cares what the socialists busy demolishing their people's
freedoms in Australia have to say about THIS nation?
And WHEN is this list, devoted to Emailer, going to return to its'
proper mission and purpose and END this political crap?
