Hi Chris-
I made a separate folder on my desktop for each Mail Action file and
labelled the folders Mail Action 1, 2, and 3 and tried each one but every
time you restart Emailer it creates a new Mail Action file and if you
Select Mail Actions under the Setup it will show a window with only one
Action which is my Vacation type Action and none of the SPAM actions
show. Also, as I said none of the Backup Mail Actions SPAM actions will
work. So I don't know what to do. I think it was Mark or maybe Ken that
originally helped me set up the Spammer Actions and advised me to do a
backup save of each Action which I did but I cannot get those back up
files to work. Hope someone has some ideas but worse thing would be that
I would simply have to create new spammer actions, about 50+ I estimate
and they grow each day if I take the time to add more words etc.

regards,
doug
OOPS! Chris, I am constantly being amazed at the depths of my stupidity
when it comes to these problems. I experimented and simply opened
Emailer and under Setup selected Mail Actions and got the little window.
Then I opened my backup copies of Mail Actions (Spammer actions) and
dragged each spammer action file over to the Emailer Mail Action screen
and voila I am back in business, with exception of new actions I had
added since these originals were created but this is much easier for me
now to add new actions. However I am still wondering why when opening
Emailer it produces a Mail Action file. Oops, there I go again for I
just discovered it is only when there are no Mail Action files in Emailer
it will create one upon start up. Hope all this might be of help for
some other dummies out there, although I doubt anyone can be as dense as
me about computer stuff. I am willing to learn and thank God an old dog
can learn new tricks.
