That's a problem with the patcher program. Alas, the person who wrote the program the patcher was created with is long since unreachable (and his software long since discontinued). I have NO idea why it does that, but I do know it can do that. It doesn't always do it however, so you might have luck if you try again (and maybe try rebooting with extensions off if you are in an OS prior to OS X). If anyone knows of a program that can compare two versions of an application and create a patch of the differences, let me know (ResCompare is what I am using, but it has this problem with later versions of the Mac OS). If you can't get it to patch, let me know. I can send you a prepatched version. However, the prepatched version is on a hard drive in my iMac which is currently dead. I hope to have it back up and running by the end of the week, so if I have to send you a copy, it won't happen until later this week (maybe someone else on the list has a patched version they can send you sooner). >(Somebody pointed me to your other product, Baton Mail, but that appears >to deal with issues with sending, rather than picking up.) Correct, Baton Mail has nothing to do with picking up email, so it won't do anything for you here. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
