The URL could have been taken down.  But also, most of those spams hide the
actual URL through several clever means.  They use an image of text, but the
clickable link goes to a different URL.  Or they use a text link with a
different clickable link in the HTML code.  Or the URL to which the first
link goes has a redirect to another link.  Or there is a server redirect.

If you are using Claris Emailer to receive these spams, you might not see
all of the info actually contained in the original email.  If you were to
download the email in an email client such as OE, which can show text, MIME
and HTML, sometimes you see quite a different email from what is shown in
Claris Emailer.
