Folks, I know this is a CE list, but just wanted any of you who have been considering switching to OSX Mail to retrieve your AOL mail to know that, for some reason, all email older than about 7 days gets deleted from your inbox in Mail, read or not. I've been messing around with it for a little while and have pretty much confirmed that this is happening. The Apple Store folk are at a loss, and there's nothing I could find on the Apple Support site that mentions this. It looks like Mail automatically synchronizes with the mail on the AOL server and I think they trash it after about a week or so. No fix or workaround I know of, other than moving anything you want to save to a new folder.
