Thanks for your suggestions (Chris and Roger) how to rid my email client of a contaminated message.
If I'd given it some thought, the answer was to look up my email on my server's web page...... the same as using Outlook Express (I don't) or Mail Siphon (I don't)...... and trash the offending message. I seldom go to my mail "through the back door." (web-mail.)
