>Do you have instructions for 10.3? I think the only change to the directions to get it to work with OS X is to NOT use the term Localhost, instead use 127.0.0.1
For some really strange reason, OS X doesn't like Localhost. It should as that is a very common term that pretty much all *nix OSes understand. But not OS X it seems. And OS X ignores the OS 9 Hosts file, so setting it there doesn't help. You would have to set the term in OS X, which is a bit more involved, and not with the effort when you can just use 127.0.0.1 which means the exact same thing and is supported (or supposed to be supported), but ALL tcp/ip stacks regardless of the OS. >Also, what is a network stream error? It just means the connection failed for an unknown, possibly violent reason, such as the connect just vanished with no warning, or you attempted to connect to oblivion. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
