In the prefs file, Emailer stores the path to the Emailer Files folder. When you deleted the prefs, Emailer created a new fresh blank one, and for whatever reason, no believes your Emailer Files folder is somewhere other than where it is. Start Emailer while holding down F5, it will ask you where the Emailer Files folder is. Navigate to it and select it.
