It being available is just one more reason why there is zero return on writing my own email client, and one more reason why I haven't bothered doing so. > But I'd suggest that you both, David and Chris, take a look at Getting >Involved with mozilla.org <http://www.mozilla.org/contribute/>, Mozilla >Hacking in a Nutshell <http://www.mozilla.org/hacking/> and Mozilla >Developer Central <http://www.mozilla.org/developer/> first. Trust me, I'd sooner get involved there then write my own client. Doing my own is not even on the list of projects I'd like to undertake. I've thought about it from time to time, and each time the thoughts end the same, there is no point in undertaking the project. If I ever really get some strange urge to write my own client, I'd take along hard look at Thunderbird before I'd start anything from scratch. I think the only point to doing something totally from scratch would be if I were attempted to fully replicate Emailer as native OS X. Then it may prove easier to start from the beginning then to retrofit Thunderbird (or any other existing) code. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
