IPNetRouter isn't a firewall program. I didn't real the Mac User article, 
but if they were testing it as a firewall program, I could see why it 
would fail.

IPNetRouter is an IP Router program. For basic functions, any NAT router 
will act like a basic firewall, but they are NOT one in the same (a 
firewall will almost always have a NAT router in it, but a NAT router is 
not a firewall by default).
