I think that what he said was that they just needed to add the computer. I offered to read him the MAC number but he said he didn't need it. He just had me pull the cable power for a minute, restart the comuter than was running and boot up the one that was not, and we were online. I guess I was so happy to have it fixed that I didn't feel like quizzing him on exactly what he had to do or what was wrong before. I'll definitely look into a router. I'm wondering what will happen if I cancel the payment for the extra computer, and then some time in the future have to call for tech support and tell them that there are two computers behind the router. Will they want their money?
