This is definitely off topic, except in the sense that like Emailer, this involves totally cool Mac software!
I went to Panic Software's website yesterday to look up something and discovered that they had retired two of their main applications and released them as freeware complete with serial numbers for use. Audion 3 is a very good, high-end MP3 player which has many cool features and works with OS 8.6 through OSX and a 604 or higher processor. I think it may also record streaming audio, for example (not sure about this but it would be great if it does.) Transmit 1.7 is an FTP client (like Fetch and Interarchy.) Transmit is quite simple and elegant to use, and for that reason, if the other utilities of Interarchy aren't needed, for straight FTP I prefer Transmit. Transmit has a bunch of advanced features, too. Panic also years ago had a little utility called LinkPad which was a URL-saving utility which I still use daily, although they no longer have it as a download. The URLs to check out, plus the links on those pages, are: http://www.panic.com/extras/ http://www.panic.com/ ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
